Sheri Ratchford has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry holding a MS in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University.  After working as a personal trainer for the Reebok Sports Club in NYC, Sheri became interested in the study of pilates. After moving back to PA, Sheri began experiencing the many benefits of pilates in her own body while working with a Pilates Method teacher in Honesdale, PA. Sheri began studying STOTT pilates with PJ O’Clair and Kathy Van Patten in Boston, MA and Moira Stott in Canada. In addition to raising 3 children, Ian, Zoe, and Meg, Sheri regularly attends continuing education workshops including topics such as: FAMI at Mt Sinai, pre and post natal, osteoporosis, psoas, SI joint, flexibility training at the Swedish Institute NYC, and fascia release. Sheri has been teaching pilates for over 15 years and teaches clientele from post rehab to athletes. Sheri is committed to helping her clients reach their fitness and movement goals. While her approach varies according to individual needs, what remains constant is her focus on the mind body connection, which is the first step in developing a successful pilate practice.

Sheri is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, Booty Barre, Medical Exercise Specialist (MES), Cardiolates instructor, ZENGA mindful movement instructor, CORE athletic conditioning and performance trainer, Buff Bones instructor, and a Fascia Fitness trainer. Sheri’s most recent focus is on the fascia exercises and fascia releasing and the importance of training our fascia through mindful movement.

 


Susan Boris is a certified Pilates Academy International instructor since 2009 after completing 35 hours of instruction in all populations mat, 15 hours of anatomy and biomechanics, as well as 5 hours mat progressions/challenge. Susan has also attended 50 hours of instruction on all populations reformer and attended a tower reformer workshop.

 

 

 

 

 

After owning restaurants for over 20 years, Kelley Obeid decided to become a group fitness instructor. Kelley studied anatomy at the Kane School in NYC and is a certified Booty Barre instructor, ZENGA mindful movement instructor, Buff Bones instructor and CPR certified. In addition, Kelley studied under PJ O'Clair, owner of an award-winning STOTT Pilates Licensed Training Center in Boston to obtain her certification in Fascial Fitness. Kelley is an extremely well rounded instructor who enjoys taking on new challenges. She is currently working on obtaining her pilates certification. In the past, Kelley worked at Vive Health and Fitness, teaching Booty Barre and Power Hour classes. This career experience ignited her desire to teach in a studio setting. At Sheri Pilates Studio, Kelley enjoys teaching her own classes, while still balancing the time to run her restaurant business. Kelley spends her free time at home with her son, Hunter, and husband,Bill. Her cheerful demeanor encourages people from all different fitness levels to join her exercise classes.
