Sheri Ratchford has over 28 years of experience in the fitness industry holding a MS in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University.  After working as a personal trainer for the Reebok Sports Club in NYC, Sheri became interested in the study of pilates. After moving back to PA, Sheri began experiencing the many benefits of pilates in her own body while working with a Pilates Method teacher in Honesdale, PA. Sheri began studying STOTT pilates with PJ O’Clair and Kathy Van Patten in Boston, MA and Moira Stott in Canada. In addition to raising 3 children, Ian, Zoe, and Meg, Sheri regularly attends continuing education workshops including topics such as: FAMI at Mt Sinai, pre and post natal, osteoporosis, psoas, SI joint, flexibility training at the Swedish Institute NYC, and fascia release. Sheri has been teaching pilates for over 20 years and teaches clientele from post rehab to athletes. Sheri is committed to helping her clients reach their fitness and movement goals. While her approach varies according to individual needs, what remains constant is her focus on the mind body connection, which is the first step in developing a successful pilate practice.

Sheri is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, Booty Barre, MELT Level 1 Instructor ,Parkinsons/MS specialist, Medical Exercise Specialist (MES), Cardiolates instructor, ZENGA mindful movement instructor, CORE athletic conditioning and performance trainer, Buff Bones instructor, and a Fascia Fitness trainer. Sheri’s most recent focus is on the fascia exercises and fascia releasing and the importance of training our fascia through mindful movement. Sheri is currently working on her MELT Level 2 training. Im addition, Sheri is currently studying with the Neuro Studio working on her Pilates for Neurological conditions certification.
